London Concertante is thrilled to announce its arrival at the breath-taking Sheffield Cathedral on Friday, 21st March 2025, with its smash-hit, candlelit celebration of West End musicals. Featuring the orchestra in full force and four of the West End’s most captivating soloists, this unmissable concert will dazzle audiences with beloved classics and contemporary favourites alike.

Under the warm glow of hundreds of flickering candles, audiences will be transported through the timeless melodies of Les Misérables, South Pacific, and West Side Story, alongside showstopping numbers from recent sensations such as Hamilton and Aladdin. Expect soaring renditions of hits like “I Dreamed a Dream,” “Luck Be a Lady,” “A Whole New World,” and “Summertime.”

Four magnificent voices:

  • Charlie Bull – A seasoned West End performer, Charlie Bull has delighted audiences in a host of well-loved productions and concert engagements across the globe. Charlie’s credits include work with leading theatre companies and appearances in a variety of musical theatre productions that have captivated audiences from London’s West End to international stages.
  • Sophie Clarke – A proud Liverpudlian, mezzo-soprano Sophie Clarke is equally at home on the opera stage as in the world of musicals. She has performed as a soloist at prestigious venues such as the Royal Festival Hall, Wigmore Hall, and Bridgewater Hall. Sophie is also a proud ambassador for Liverpool Heartbeat and has performed in countless charity events.

  • Rory Campbell – With a wealth of experience that includes performing in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s iconic Cats at the New London Theatre, Rory Campbell has a longstanding relationship with London Concertante, enchanting audiences with his robust vocals for many years. Beyond his stage career, Rory is a successful entrepreneur, running his own catering and entertainment company.
  • Aidan Edwards – Aidan Edwards is a baritone of exceptional vocal range and versatility. Like Sophie Clarke, Aidan has showcased his talents on both the operatic stage and in musical theatre, performing with some of the UK’s leading opera companies as well as renowned musical theatre ensembles, and on national radio.
