Aerosmith score first UK No.1 album with Yungblud

– Official Charts Company

Veteran rockers Aerosmith have scored their first ever UK number one album with One More Time, their collaborative project with pop rock star Yungblud, the Official Charts Company has confirmed.

The achievement comes more than 50 years after the Steven Tyler-led US band’s self-titled debut, and 38 years since their first appearance in the UK albums chart with ninth LP Permanent Vacation.

Yungblud said: “No words can express how grateful I am for this … my second official number one of 2025. Massive love to everyone who supported this record in the name of rock and roll.

“Aerosmith has been part of the soundtrack to my life. Thank you to Joe and Steven for riding with me – I can’t believe we made a record together.

“This is the cherry on top of a f****** crazy, emotional rollercoaster of a year. Bring on 2026. Love.”

The record is the second number one album of the year for Yungblud, whose real name is Dominic Harrison, after his album Idols topped the albums chart, and is his fourth UK number one album in total.

One More Time also topped the UK vinyl albums chart, for the most physical records sold, and the UK record store chart, for most albums sold in British independent record shops.

It comes after Yungblud became the first British artist to receive three Grammy nominations in the rock categories.

Elsewhere on the albums chart, The Stone Roses saw both their self-titled debut and compilation The Very Best Of The Stone Roses return to the top 40 following the death of bass player Gary ‘Mani’ Mounfield.

The rest of the albums chart top five was made up of Olivia Dean’s The Art Of Loving (two), Taylor Swift’s The Life Of A Showgirl (three), Tate McRae’s So Close To What (four), and Olly Murs’ Knees Up (five).

In the UK singles chart, mysterious rapper EsDeeKid, who has been the subject of internet rumours that he is actor Timothee Chalamet, achieved his first top 10 hit with Century, while Taylor Swift marks her sixth non-consecutive week at number one with The Fate Of Ophelia.

The rest of the singles chart was made up of Raye’s Where Is My Husband! (two), Olivia Dean’s So Easy (To Fall In Love) (three) and Man I Need (four), and her collaboration with Sam Fender on Rein Me In (five).
