This is the moment that a water main burst in a Sheffield street.

The main burst in Hatfield House Lane, just off of Winkley Terrace, leaving a highly pressured stream of water shooting into the air.

Emergency repair workers have dug up part of the road next to the burst main, with protective fencing around both sites to stop anyone from getting injured.

Locals in the area report that the road had been closed “all day” on Wednesday, with some now reporting that the road remains closed today, Thursday, November 25.

It is not clear how long the road will be closed or when the issue will be remedied, but there is not currently any mention of this problem on the Yorkshire Water website.
