Live as Castle Square in Sheffield sealed off with huge cordon guarded by police

A square in Sheffield city centre has been sealed off by police this morning with a large cordon put in place.

South Yorkshire Police officers are stood at the cordon in Castle Square, Sheffield City Centre and multiple police cars can be seen on its perimeter.

It is not yet clear what has happened at the scene in Castle Square but the force has been contacted for more information.
