An Asda customer was left appalled after catching an Asda delivery driver with his trousers down – outside their home.

In the video, which is credited to ImJustSheff, the delivery driver can clearly be seen stood outside the van, pulling his trousers back up after defecating by the side of the road.

The incident is believed to have taken place in Rotherham and to have taken place on Wednesday, November 3.

The Asda staff member in the video can be seen reaching for toilet roll that he already had on his passenger seat after doing his business on the road.

The appalled customer then continued to sees the driver use the roll three times, wiping his rear, before dropping the used paper to the floor and pulling both his underwear and trousers up.

It’s not clear in the video where the driver heads to next he appears to head to the van’s rear, presumably to continue his job.

The customer filming has covered the driver’s face with a ‘sick face’ emoji in order to cover his identity.

The video quickly did the rounds on social media with Asda Service Team tellling shocked customers: “Hi there, thanks for bringing this to our attention. Please could you DM some more information, including the date, time and location of this so I can locate the driver? Thanks, Jess”

When approached by Yorkshire Live, an Asda spokesperson said: ”The actions in this video fall far below the standards that we expect of our drivers and as soon as were made aware of the footage we immediately launched an internal investigation.”
