Live as A1(M) near Doncaster shut with 90 minute delays and five miles of traffic after crash

Emergency services are currently at the scene of a multi-vehicle crash on the A1(M) near Doncaster.

The northbound carriageway following the accident at J35 (M18 Interchange) earlier this evening.

Traffic is currently queueing for five miles and there are currently delays of 1.5 hours.

Traffic monitoring system Inrix reports: “A1(M) northbound closed, queueing traffic for five miles due to multi-vehicle accident at J35 (M18 Interchange).

“The road was closed around 5.40pm, the earlier small amount of trapped traffic within the closure has been released.”

Diversion – via the exit and entry slip roads.

South Yorkshire Police and Yorkshire Ambulance Service have been approached for more information.
