Live Doncaster fire updates as huge blaze at industrial park erupts near Bank End Road

Firefighters are currently at the scene of a blaze at an industrial unit in Doncaster.

Emergency services were called to Ash Holt Industrial Park in Bank End Road this afternoon, October 27.

Residents in the area are advised to keep their doors and windows closed due to a large amount of smoke.

Writing on social media, South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters are currently at a large fire at an industrial unit in Ash Holt Industrial Park on Bank End Road in Doncaster.

“There is a large amount of smoke in the area so crews are advising people to keep their doors and windows closed and to avoid the area if possible.”

The cause of the fire is not known at this stage.

South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service have been approached for more information.
