Mum-of-four Kathleen Lawrence wanted for child neglect offences could be in South Yorkshire

A woman who is wanted in connection with child neglect offences could be in South Yorkshire.

Kathleen Lawrence, 32, is from Hampton Vale in Peterborough, but police believe that she is currently moving across the country.

Cambridgeshire Constabulary said Lawrence, who has four children, is wanted in connection with child neglect offences and officers are keen to trace her so that they can also ensure the wellbeing of the children.

They said Lawrence could be “anywhere in England” but is known to have links to South Yorkshire, as well as Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Luton, Merseyside, West Mercia and Dumfries.

A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Constabulary said: “We are appealing for the public’s help to locate a woman who is wanted in connection with child neglect offences.

“Kathleen Lawrence, 32, from Hampton Vale in Peterborough, is believed to be moving across the country.

“Both ourselves and the local authority urgently need to contact her to discuss the neglect offences and to ensure the wellbeing of her four children.

“Lawrence could be anywhere in England but is known to have links in Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, South Yorkshire, Luton, Merseyside, West Mercia and Dumfries.”

Anyone with information on Lawrence’s whereabouts or any possible sightings is urged to contact police by either calling 101 or reporting online here or via the police’s webchat service.
