Teen boys lure takeaway driver to car park to rob him at knifepoint

A takeaway driver was called to a car park and then robbed at knifepoint by two teenagers who demanded he hand over cash.

South Yorkshire Police say the driver was called at 2.30am on Wednesday, April 7, to a car park in Greenland Court in Sheffield where he was then threatened with a knife by two teenage boys.

They demanded he hand over his money and they took around £300 in cash and a bag of takeaway food before fleeing in the direction of Greenland Court.

The takeaway driver was uninjured.

The boys were described as black, slim and aged between 14 and 17-years-old. They were both wearing face coverings and dark clothing.

The force now want to hear from anyone with information that might help officers in their enquiries.
